Purple Champions are the contributors, sponsors, supporters and survivors who assist the Alliance of Families Fighting Pancreatic Cancer with carrying out its mission to transform pancreatic cancer treatment. Jack Andraka

Last year, Jack won first prize at the Intel International Sciences and Engineering Fair for his early detection test for pancreatic cancer. He has since become somewhat of an international sensation, speaking at TED events, appearing in publication like TIME and Forbes, and joining Michelle Obama as her guest at the State of the Union Address. Jack has been a speaker at several AFFPC events, and we are proud to to have him as a supporter.

Robin Warshaw

Robin is an experienced writer and editor whose specialties include medical subjects, health and wellness, education and social issues. She has worked with numerous nonprofit organizations, healthcare and educational institutions, businesses, foundations, and government agencies, helping them communicate effectively to improve connections with their audiences. The AFFPC was fortunate to have Robin help to articulate the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.

Blair Gastroenterology Associates, Altoona, PA

Blair Gastroenterology works with patients who have digestive disorders in the Altoona, PA area, seeking to provide them with the highest quality health care in a courteous and compassionate manner. One of their physicians, Dr. Ralph McKibbin, has spoken at AFFPC events, has helped the organization become involved in political advocacy in Washington, DC, and has generously given of his time and expertise to help with organizational strategy and administration.

North American Communications

North American Communications (NAC) is the largest bi-national direct mail manufacturer in the United States — they offer a variety of products and services from imaging and design to postal optimization and shipping. NAC has graciously donated a number of items to the AFFPC, including office furniture, computers, software, letterhead, and envelopes.
